The name of this place is a combination of make + factory. The owners coined it referencing the unique service provided by their brand. Walking through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that it was designed as a fabrication facility, a little factory of sorts. It still functions as a prototyping facility, but it is also a unique coworking space. You’ll find Maketory at 9431 Dowdy Drive, Suite 2.
Caffe Calabria
This cafe offers expansive tables with plenty of space to work. The tamed lighting is a nice touch, too. Add the mouthwatering aroma of real Italian food wafting in the air, and you get one of the nicest places to work remotely in San Diego. It’s the perfect spot for an early start on your tasks since it opens at 6 am on weekdays. Note that it closes at 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. But on the rest of the days, the shop is open until 11 in the evening. You’ll find this cafe at 3933 30th Street.

This coworking space was designed by women and is exclusively for working professional women. Hera Hub has been around since 2011, and it has three locations across San Diego’s metro area.
