Across the country, volunteering is being celebrated this week. Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, started National Volunteer Week in 1974.
The week has been growing every year since then, with people celebrating volunteering across the country. Want to get involved? Points of Light has a volunteer opportunity search on their website. Just visit https://ww2.pointsoflight.org/nvw and enter your zip code to find opportunities in your area.
At Thrive, we’re reflecting on our Thrive Gives Back program, which we’ve been working on growing over the past several years! Here are some pictures of our program in action this past summer at Mission Arlington, during Thrive Camp:
Thrive Gives Back continues year-round with our Kiva donations. For every business that works with Thrive, we will give a micro-loan to another striving entrepreneur from Kiva to help them grow and succeed!
