How did you get started with SEO?
By accident, I went for an interview to be a travel consultant (which I studied for) and instead got a call back to be trained to be an SEO for the travel company.
What do you love about working for Thrive so far?
The friendliness and camaraderie of every one to each other.
When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time?
Reading, sketching, sculpturing, watching series and exploring the Garden Route region in South Africa.
If you could turn anything into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a gold medal for?
The number of hours spent on the internet every day.
What would be your karaoke go-to song and what setting would we likely find you singing it in?
Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor, in my own living room, I am not such a good singer.
If you could be any character from any book or movie, who would you be?
Indiana Jones from the Indiana Jones movies, as I love history and wanted to be an archeologist at one point and the thought of finding hidden archaeological treasures is very exciting to me.
Where did you grow up and what is special about that place?
Cape Town, South Africa which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, famous for Table Mountain and all the beautiful scenery.
If you were in a room with three billionaires, what would you ask them and why?
What do you think are the secrets behind getting to where you’ve got to? – We all want some inside knowledge so we can emulate them 😉
What do you know about your industry now that you didn’t before you became successful? – If they didn’t continue to grow, they probably wouldn’t be a billionaire.
If you could go back and do your life over, would you do everything the same? – I am curious about people’s decisions and how they impacted their lives.
If you could invite three people to dinner (dead or alive), who would be at the table and why?
Nelson Mandela – As a hero and former president of my country, I would love the chance to be just in his presence.
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer – I admire his teachings and I am a big fan of his motivational and spiritual books.
Leonardo Da Vinci – To learn from this truly brilliant person with a genius mind and artistic ability that surpasses most modern-day artists.
