Name: Christian Arriola
Role at Thrive: SEO Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX
Pets: At home, we have a very smart Schnauzer named Isabella (you can call her Bella). She is extremely energetic and loves attention. She loves attention so much, that one time she jumped and bite me on the nose just so that I would play with her and her toy. (True story!). She’s so used to having me at home all day that she’s become a little spoiled.
When did you start at Thrive? November 2017; it’s been a very fun year!
What are some of the things you love about being a Thriver? The #1 thing I like is the freedom to work from home, avoid morning traffic, and the ability to execute on my own strategies to maximize the results of my clients.
If you could travel back in time, which period in history would you visit first? I would probably go back in time to 1937 when Napoleon Hill wrote my all-time favorite book: “Think and Grow Rich”. I wished I could go back and buy an autographed copy while picking his brain.
We hear you have a podcast. How did you get into podcasting?
Funny story! While going through the hustle of owning a green tea shop for 2 years, I was frustrated looking for help from people who have had success before. Of course, successful people tend to be very busy and need something in exchange to talk to you.
I knew that if I would reach out to successful people and offer them free publicity I could pick their brains and build incredible relationships while building my personal brand. I love challenges so this sounded fun to me, so I started podcasting.
You can instantly become an expert at one thing. What do you choose?
I choose to become an expert public speaker to travel the world spreading my message.
What did you eat as a child that you think is pretty gross today?
Am I gross to say I still eat most of the stuff I ate when I was a child? That includes scrambled eggs with ketchup, mix sweet and salty every day, and my favorite: full spoons of peanut butter directly from the container (oops!)
You’ve just been granted 10 days of extra PTO for being awesome. What are you doing with your two weeks off?
Is this for real or just for the article? Haha!
I would probably go to the bookstore and get five books to devour during those two weeks.
