How did you get started with SEO?
I was the marketing manager for a chain of boutique hotels in the midwest and ended up learning about SEO throughout my marketing efforts. Since then, I’ve taken on SEO as my full-time work and am learning more every day!
What do you love about working for Thrive so far?
The team. Everyone at Thrive is willing to help each other out, offer advice and collaborate when needed. Even though I’m down in South America, I never feel isolated from the team.
When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time?
I prefer to be away from home when I’m not working, so I spend a good deal of time exploring breweries in the city. I’ve also been traveling more lately and have knocked out quite a few places off of my bucket list!
If you could turn anything into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a gold medal for?
DIY projects and room remodeling.
What would be your karaoke go-to song and what setting would we likely find you singing it in?
Honestly, I don’t have one, and you wouldn’t find me singing in any setting.
Where did you grow up and what is special about that place?
Iowa. It’s not a special place.
If you were in room with three billionaires, what would you ask them and why?
What is ONE thing you enjoy that doesn’t cost a penny?
Money is one of those things that people obsess over, and it would be interesting to see what someone who has wealth enjoys doing.
If you could invite three people to dinner (dead or alive), who would be at the table and why?
Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffin and Meryl Streep because the conversation would be lively, vulgar and a riot.
