Kiva is an organization that lets people give micro-loans to entrepreneurs and students around the world to do amazing things. As a non-profit organization, Kiva.org enables people in any location to act as Internet-based lenders to fund low-income entrepreneurs and students in more than 80 different countries. Kiva’s primary goal and mission is “to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.”
For every business that works with Thrive, we give a micro-loan to another striving entrepreneur from Kiva to help them grow and succeed. As the number of clients we work with grows, so does our number of micro-loans.
What we really love about Kiva is that you can read the stories of all the people requesting loans and choose someone you feel connected with.
