Ronald McDonald House is the cornerstone of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville, located in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This wonderful organization has supported the needs of nearly 34,000 families seeking medical treatment at Jacksonville’s major pediatric healthcare providers since 1988.
On Friday, August 3rd, our team of Jacksonville-based Thrivers (Coral Wulff, Jacob Wulff, Jarrett Brothers, Josh Smith & Ryan Hunter) were fortunate enough to spend an afternoon volunteering their time to helping keep the House in shape.
They helped clean the 70 ft. playroom, tidied the kitchen and pantry areas, and made sure the families who call the Ronald McDonald House their temporary home have a clean place to eat and play.
Hundreds of families from all over the world are staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville. These families enjoy beautiful amenities, private and secure living accommodations, nutritious meals, access to iPads and other technology, indoor and outdoor play areas, a fully stocked pantry, transportation to local hospitals, and the comfort and affection of Reed, the Ronald McDonald House facility dog.
The team at Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville was very gracious, allowing our team to make 
ourselves at home, and giving us a grand tour of the House including the beautiful and serene rooftop garden, which has breathtaking views of downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.
