How did you get started with Amazon Marketing?
It kind of fell into my lap with a local small company that wanted to explore the Amazon marketplace. Most everything I know has been self-taught. 🙂
What do you love about working for Thrive so far?
I love that even though we are all far apart it feels like family! Everyone is always willing to help and be there for each other.
When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time?
Traveling for sure! We go on crises a lot to see the world. When we are not traveling we love being outdoors, like hikes and camping! You can also find us hanging out at Neyland Stadium for a Vols football game in the Fall. Go Big Orange!
If you could turn anything into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a gold medal for? Overthinking and worrying!
What would be your karaoke go-to song and what setting would we likely find you singing it in?
Let It Go from the Disney movie Frozen! My son has loved that movie since it came out and I can sing every word (and do the moves from the movie), we sing it in the car and all over the house!
If you could be any character from any book or movie, who would you be?
Mary Poppins! No matter what comes at her she is happy and positive and full of life, and song, and dance! (and partially perfect in every way of course)
Where did you grow up and what is special about that place?
I grew up here in the mountains of East Tennessee, it’s my home! I have also lived for short periods in Virginia and Florida, but I always come back to Good Ol Rocky Top! The mountains are beautiful and bring calmness during crazy times.
If you were in a room with three billionaires, what would you ask them and why?
I would want to know if they earned the billions or if it was given or handed down to them, and what would be their key to success?
If you could invite three people to dinner (dead or alive), who would be at the table and why?
Marlyn Monroe, Taylor Swift, & Jason Aldean! I feel this would be a very interesting group of people to sit around a table. Marilyn has always been such an icon so I would love to pick her brain about her life. Taylor Swift is a younger artist but I feel she is very emotionally mature and could bring a lot of knowledge. Jason Aldean is my favorite country singer because he makes great music and is so down to earth, so I feel like it would be more like having a friend over than a celebrity!
