An Inspiring Book
There are SO many great books out there about owning a business, being a great boss, navigating the world of startups, opening a store or restaurant – the topics are endless. Pick a topic you think would speak most to your person and start looking around for books on that topic. If you use Amazon, you’ll get recommendations at the bottom of a product page for related books. That’s a great way to browse!
Phillips Hue Go
The ambiance at the office is important. Nobody really works well under fluorescent lights! The Hue Go is a portable light that can be set on a desktop and can be whatever color you’d like it to be. Anyone who works in an office at home or away will appreciate being able to change the ambiance they work in!
Noise-Cancelling Headphones
Especially if you work in an office or co-working space, noise-canceling headphones are a necessity. They’re comfortable, they sound great and the improved focus. Bose is, of course, one of the best brands out there, but it’s also pretty expensive. You don’t have to go all-out to get good headphones, although they do generally increase in quality with price. However, there are some great options down at the $30 – $40 mark for those on a budget.

Fresh, Delivered Meal Boxes
Busy entrepreneurs often don’t have a ton of time to grocery shop and cook. Whether they’re on their own or have a family, a couple boxed fresh meals would be an excellent gift. National brands include Plated, Blue Apron and HelloFresh, but you can also try searching for them in your own city. There are often local ones to choose from, in addition to the big national companies.
Book Subscription
Does your person like to read in his/her free time? There are a couple book subscription services that would be a great gift!
Book of the Month club gives a choice between 5 books each month, and if none of those books appeal (which isn’t often), the month can just be skipped and the money kept for the next month.
GiftLit is another option – choose a curated list of books or pick out books yourself, pay for a year up front, and they’ll send a book off the list to your person each month.
Google Home or Amazon Echo
One of these systems can be used at home or at the office. They can play music, give weather updates, traffic updates, answer questions, read off what’s on your calendar for the day, add something to your calendar – it’s like having a personal assistant.
You’ll have to do some sleuthing to decide which to get. If your person has an Android phone, Google Home might be the right choice. If he or she has Amazon Prime, Echo might be a good choice. Really, though, you can’t go wrong with either!
Contigo Auto-Seal Coffee Mug
No spills, hot coffee or tea for hours. Need we say more?
Desktop Cord Holder
How many headaches and frustrated sighs can a simple plastic object deter? Many.
