Increasing Referral Traffic through Social
Berryman Products wanted a bigger spike in their Facebook engagement as well as their website traffic. Taking a cue from their Solution Central Q&A section, we posted a question with a graphic featuring a prize package for a Berryman fan with the correct answer. We set a small budget to boost the question past Facebook’s 16% audience reach to reach over 24,200 potential Facebook fans.
After getting approval from Berryman on the graphics, we launched the Chemtooler School project by:
- Selecting winners randomly thru a social contest tool
- Announcing winners of contest every week on a boosted post
- Alternating between quizzes and giveaways for the contest
- Connected winners with the client to deliver prizes quickly
In just 16 days, BerrymanProducts.com saw a 2,536% increase in referred website traffic directly from Berryman’s Facebook account. A 14% increase in weekly total reach and 10.72% increase in fan likes. Just remember, if you give a little to your audience they will give back much more.
