Plano Plumbing and Leak Detection is a full-service plumbing company. This company focuses on residential water leap and detection, slab leaks, water heater installation/replacement and gas leaks.
Plano Plumbing came to Thrive looking for search engine optimization help to increase website traffic and leads for its three primary North Texas service areas: Plano, McKinney and Allen.
Executing The Strategy
A Thrive Internet Marketing Agency SEO specialist helped Plano Plumbing by reviewing its website and finding ways to increase online visibility and presence for the targeted local cities.
Thrive focused on local SEO, increasing local citation development and creating geo-targeted local city pages for the locations in which Plano Plumbing wanted to appear on the first page.
Thrive also expanded upon Plano Plumbing’s existing content because its service pages had less than 200 words, helping to increase the company’s organic search engine results.
Forms were added to increase call-to-action opportunities in the service- and city-based landing pages of the website. Internal links were added from each of the pages.

The blogs also allowed for internal link building to the service and city pages that helped increase positioning. This helped Thrive rank Plano Plumbing in the Top 3 on maps and in the Top 7 in organic search results.
Thrive also added images of the Plano Plumbing team working on the services it provides on each of the pages to show users the company and who would visit their home.
In no time, business was booming for Plano Plumbing. It averaged 24.6 online leads per month throughout 2018. Ten of the 12 months outperformed the previous year.
